Our team
Ken Macdonald (Chair)
Ken was one of the founding members of the Friends of Linlithgow Rose Garden and was invited to join the Board of the Trust in autumn 2023. He was elected Chair at the 2025 AGM.
Ken has lived in Linlithgow since 2004 and has been retired since March 2006. He has a background in economic development and has also worked for a UK regulator.
Janice McBride (Secretary)
Janice has been Secretary of the LBHG since 2019 and is committed to making Linlithgow a beautiful sustainable environment for families and visitors to enjoy and takes great pride supporting Linlithgow intitiatives, being a member also of the Linlithgow Burgh Trust and the Burgh Beautiful Team
Janice has lived in Linlithgow from July 1988. Her career in the Oil and Gas industry spanned over 40 years, she retired in 2016. Janice is a founder of JMB (Scotland) PLC, a recruitment company.
